Dr Lisa Colodny grew up in the rural countryside of Kentucky surrounded by an eclectic group of family and friends. Her earliest stories were penned with a cousin or family member in mind. Fortunately, she returns to grandparents little White House on the hill in Taylor County, Ky.
She attended the University of Ky and Broward College of Ft Lauderdale, graduated with a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University and later an MBA. She has written approximately 34 publications in the health and science industry and 5 book contributions, interviewed for 15 television programs or newspaper articles, and participated in over 50 healthcare related speaking events.
In 2014 The Town Time Forgot, an adult fiction story was published, followed in 2015 by the Purple Dragonfly First Place award winning children’s book, Ms Abrams’ Everything Garden. Into the Woods, Yellow River Pledge, Sanctuary Road, and Journeys followed in 2017 and 2018.
In 2019, Walking the Plank, Turbulence, Crossroads, Terminus, wavering Moon and Chimera were released. Sultana and Jericho Alley were released in 2020. There are three new releases planned for 2021.
A screenplay, Second Chances, was accepted by the Wide Screen Film Festival in Las Vegas as well as the Ft Lauderdale Film Festival in 2019.
She resides in Parkland, Florida with her daughter, Samantha, and three dogs, Cooper, Buttercup, and Bentley.
